When You Run Into Vincent Van Gogh on the Subway
With so many people on the planet earth, chances are high that you’ve got a doppelganger. This means there’s probably somebody out there who looks just like you. But, because of what we said before about there being so many people on earth, chances are you’re never going to meet them. Still, every once in a while you might run into a doppelganger or lookalike that blows your mind, just like this one!
We’re not sure if it was intentional or not, but this guy looks exactly like Vincent Van Gogh. But here’s the real question– do we think that he can paint like him, too?
Felix? Is That You?
Sometimes art imitates life, and sometimes life imitates art. And, in this case, an artistic rendering of a gorgeous black and white cat is imitating a gorgeous actual black and white cat! It almost looks like that’s the real Felix there on the ground, waiting for his food. Although, Felix seems to be saying that that’s an awfully small pouch of food for a hungry cat. Maybe he needs two pouches!
Whether you’re a cat person or not, you’ve got to admit that these two lookalikes are both adorable. The cat food, though, probably doesn’t smell that good, but the smell doesn’t translate through pictures, so it’s fine.
What Animal Could This Possibly Be?
This image definitely threw us for a loop upon first glance. We’ve heard of people keeping kangaroos and wallabies as pets before, but never in the house like this. Then, we kept looking, and we realized it wasn’t a kangaroo after all. It’s just a german shepherd puppy falling between the cracks. With the way his tail is all tucked in and his paws are resting on his belly, he might have even convinced some kangaroos!
Although kangaroos might look cute and cuddly, they’re very protective and violent animals. Keep your pets a safe distance away and don’t try to pet them, even if they seem friendly.
These Milkweed Pods Look Exactly Like Hummingbirds
Even though the human eye is incredibly powerful, it still can be tricked. For example, the first time we looked at this picture, we figured it showed a bunch of hummingbirds or little parrots perched and drinking from the edge of the glass. In actuality, it’s a series of milkweed pods draped over the glass to dry out. It could’ve fooled us, especially considering we’d never seen a milkweed pod before.
Although milkweed does have some medicinal properties, it also can be poisonous. So, keep that in mind and please try no to munch away if you find any of these by the side of the road.
Who’s More Stylish? Karl Lagerfeld Or This Grill?
Karl Lagerfeld was known the world over for his brilliant fashion design and his work as the creative director of Chanel. With that in mind, you wouldn’t expect to see a mega celebrity like him hanging out in just anyone’s backyard. But, with the way the snow fell on this winter’s night, this grill certainly looks like him, don’t you think? To us, it either looks like him or The Terminator.
Even though this is a picture from the middle of winter, it’s making us want to go out and fire up the barbecue. There’s nothing better than grilling with friends, except maybe owning a grill that looks like Karl Lagerfeld.
Did She Buy This Dress Before Or After Riding This Train?
Every once in a while you might see someone wearing a similar shirt to you in public, but this is taking it to a whole other level. In this image, we’ve got a woman wearing a dress that’s made from the exact same print fabric as the public city trains! Do you think she buys her fabrics from the same place as city hall? Did she realize what that pattern was when she was buying the dress?
Maybe this is a new form of urban camouflage that we haven’t heard of yet. Imagine how much people-watching you could do if people thought you were just a seat. Although, you might get sat on a time or two.
Who Says Cats Can’t Celebrate Halloween?
Every year when Halloween rolls around, people all around the world try to figure out the most impressive costume they can buy or create to wow their friends. Some people do group costumes with their families, some people dress up their pets, and others go solo and alone. Still, the mark of a great costume is when the person truly becomes the character, and that’s what’s going on in the image down below.
We will not be convinced that this cat is not Chewbacca. They look practically identical! We bet this cat is a pretty good mechanic and robotics hand too.
Fluffy Samoyed Puppies Look Exactly Like Polar Bears
When most animals are young, they’re missing the trademark features and traits that represent their species. This is how people sometimes bring home fox cubs thinking they’re puppies, or lynx kittens thinking they’re barn cats. In this case, we don’t think anyone is going to take the animal for the wrong reason. However, these samoyed puppies might as well start working for Coca-Cola. They look exactly like polar bear cubs!
Obviously, once the dogs get a little bit bigger, you’ll be able to tell that they’re not actually bears. But, if you do come across one of these in the wintertime, you might want to look around for Momma Bear before reaching down to pet it.
They Look Like Best Friends, Don’t They?
Despite their physical differences, dogs are horses are pretty similar in a number of ways. If you give them the proper training and affection, they both can be incredibly loyal animals. Plus, if you raise them in proximity to each other, chances are they might get along! That’s exactly what happened here, where the owners of this great dane and a small mini horse decided to start training their pets together.
These two look like they would be perfect for a buddy, mystery TV show. We’re not sure which network it would wind up on, but we think we’ve got a perfect name: The Dog And Pony Show.
One Of These Things Is Not Like The Others
In the wild, if you’re not a predator, you’re prey. That’s why different animals need to develop different defensive mechanisms to survive. Owls, for example, grow their plumage in a way that camouflages them in their surroundings. It doesn’t work like a chameleon where the owl changes colors. But, we’d be lying if we said we saw the owl in the picture below at first glance. Have you seen him yet?

Was This The Original Van Halen Model?
Rock and roll album covers have a history of stirring up some controversy. Remember Nirvana’s Nevermind cover, with the baby in the swimming pool? That caused a pretty large backlash. This Van Halen cover didn’t cause nearly as much, but it did create a stir in this family’s house when they realized that their youngest looked exactly like the cover model. If you add on a pair of wings, he’d be the spitting image of that cherub!
This is from Van Halen’s 1984 album of the same name. Most fans don’t rank this album in their top five, but it is an important part of the band’s discography nonetheless.
A Barn Owl And An Overripe Apple
Barn Owls are one of the most wide-reaching species of animal on the planet. You read that right– not just one of the most wide-reaching bird species, one of the most wide-reaching species period. The only place barn owls don’t live is in arctic and desert regions. Still, even though there are plenty in the world, we didn’t expect anything to look this much like a barn owl except a barn owl. Boy, were we proven wrong.
Something about the depth of the seed, the rounding of the core, and the two-toned shading where the flesh has started to rot, make this apple look exactly like a barn owl. Meanwhile, the owl just wants to eat the apple.
No Thanks, We’re Not Eating That
A lot of people have reservations when it comes to fruits and vegetables. Maybe it comes from a lack of exposure as children, but the sooner you learn how good these veggies are for you, the better. Still, we don’t know if we’d be able to dig into this one at the end of the day. Yes, it’s rhubarb, and we know it’s good for us. But, doesn’t it just look like green brains?
This is something we’d expect to see on a Nickelodeon TV show. The thing just screams “Slime.” What it does not scream, however, is “Healthy, yummy rhubarb.”
