After working your butt off through the whole college year, summer break is a time to get out of the dorm, slam some beers, and enjoy the company of your friends with no homework, tests, or interviews to worry about. But just make sure you do it right. If you’re not careful, your tropical vacation or Tiki-themed house party can quickly go sideways. Just look at all of these examples of college students getting up to no good, and you’ll understand exactly what we mean.
When Uninvited Guests (AKA the Police) Show up
Most of us want to spend our summer partying, hanging out with friends, or enjoying the great outdoors. The last place we want to be spending any time is in a jail cell, but the students in this picture were probably headed in that direction in the few minutes after this picture was taken. A note to anyone reading: don’t fight the police if they show up at your party! It will only end poorly.
Usually, the cops show up and just tell everyone to go home. Unless, of course, you decided to fight them. Then, they’ll probably take you and a few of your friends for a ride downtown after the party.
It’s a Frat Boy Summer
College can be a wild place to be, and things get even wilder when the summer semester comes along. As a parent, you want to send your kid to college and feel like they will be smart and safe while they’re gone. Then, you see some of the frat houses on their campus, and you get incredibly worried. Like this one with a sign inviting daughters and their mothers in for drinks. Smooth, boys.
If that’s mother and daughter drop-off, where are all the dads supposed to go? Could they be at the sorority across the street? Or are they going to be too busy standing with their arms crossed talking to the other dads?
