Cardi B has never been one to hold back, but her latest revelations have sent shockwaves across social media.
In a recent live session on X Spaces, the Grammy winning rapper gave fans a brutally honest glimpse into the high cost of raising her three children, just as her estranged husband Offset reportedly filed for spousal support.
Their relationship began in 2017 when the pair secretly tied the knot at the peak of their fame. Over the years, the couple welcomed daughter Kulture, son Wave, and most recently, daughter Blossom, born in September 2024.
Although they’ve had multiple breakups and reconciliations, things seemed to fall apart once again by late 2023 when Cardi admitted during an Instagram Live that she had “been single for a minute.” She added, “I have been afraid… not afraid, I just don’t know how to tell the world.”
By the end of that year, their reunion appeared to have fizzled out for good. Cardi quietly filed for divorce once again, and now, reports from People suggest Offset is seeking financial support from her, something that didn’t sit well with Cardi.
Taking to X, the rapper gave fans a full breakdown of the costs she shoulders as a mother of three. “Start adding,” she challenged, before revealing a long list of expenses that left listeners stunned.
Cardi disclosed that her kids have a personal driver who costs her $10,000 a month, and that her cousin is paid $3,000 per week to babysit.
She also revealed that Kulture’s school tuition alone is $45,000 per year, which she claims Offset doesn’t contribute to.
Cardi added that Wave gets weekly boxing and tutoring sessions, both paid from her pocket. Kulture receives piano lessons that cost $300 per hour, three times a week, and the children have access to a personal chef from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., also funded solely by Cardi. A daytime nanny, she revealed, is paid $500 per shift.
But the most eyebrow raising admission came when Cardi described the 24-hour security team stationed outside her home. “We’ve had threats,” she explained. “So I pay for that. I bought that stuff with my sweat and tears.”
She then made what many interpreted as a pointed message to Offset: “You have left me with the kids’ bill.” That one sentence ignited a firestorm online.
