Similar to how MC Skat Kat and Paula Abdul performed “Opposites Attract,” and how Frida Kahlo, a 22-year-old Mexican woman with a monobrow, married Diego Rivera, who was overweight and had been married twice already, in 1929.
One of Diego’s numerous extramarital romances was with Kahlo’s sister. After an ugly breakup in 1939, the couple remarried in 1940. In 1954, Kahlo died with Diego by her side. It’s unknown why the couple remained together after such a controversial marriage.
